Going Forward

Hi everyone.  In my initial reflections, I rated my physical well-being as a 6 on a scale of 1-10.  I would have to say that at this point, I am doing a little better but I still need to get my exercise in.  I would only say that I rate gained one point.  I will also need to get those meal times down to something workable.
In the spiritual well-being, I have implemented the steps of the serenity prayer and that is to not worry about the things that I cannot change.  I have eliminated a lot of pressures in my life and also have continued to reduce the noise in my home.  I have done these things but know that I still have room for improvement so I will rate this one as I did before.  I rate this category as an 8.
In the psychological well-being, I have made an improvement by interacting and reaching out to people more often.  I have started volunteering in other areas of outreach in my church and I now work around people instead of just the home and find that I am instrumental in helping to brighten someone’s day.  In my exhorting, I am often encouraging someone to pay more attention to their total being. I would say that at this point I am at a rate of 8
I have found many of the exercises to be most helpful.  The human suffering exercise was most difficult for me.  I guess because I try not to look someone’s life in the realm of their suffering.  I don’t quite ignore it, but choose not to focus on the negative in order to improve the positive.

  1. Hi Carla.

Thank you for the positiveness that you beamed onto my posts. In one of my previous posts, you discerned that I was an "Exhorter." Girl, I did not know what that was, and at first I thought you were telling me off (LOL). I researched the word and I am so grateful that you saw something in me that I did not see in myself (smile). God is such a driving force in my life and I love the Lord with all of my heart and soul.

Take good care of yourself. I pray much prosperity and blessings for you and your family AND also in your academic journey.

    Love, peace and blessings always~
    Patricia
